The ugliness of materialism is discontentment. Being driven by materialism causes us to be indifferent to people. If we can't love people, how can we love God? Life does not consist in the abundance of possessions. We shouldn't worship the blessings. We should worship the one who blesses...God...the ONE and HOLY God. He is the giver of all things that are good. Look to Him for true joy.
